The RDX is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy figures remain unchanged from last year. The 2020 Acura RDX gets EPA-estimated fuel economy rated at 22/28 mpg with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel-drive models return 21/27 mpg.* The RDX A-Spec with front-wheel drive gets 22/27 mpg, and all-wheel-drive models check in with 21/26 mpg.
The base 2020 Acura RDX comes with front-wheel drive. Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, a height-adjustable power tailgate, keyless entry/ignition, ambient cabin lighting, a panoramic moonroof, heated 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a self-dimming rearview mirror, heated side mirrors, automatic high beams, variable-ratio steering, a 10.2-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi, a 350-watt premium audio system with nine speakers, and satellite radio.
Options include Acura’s SH-AWD four-wheel-drive system, which provides exceptional traction when roads are slippery. The Technology package includes front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a navigation system with live traffic updates, leather upholstery, a climate control system that’s linked to GPS, an audio system with 12 speakers, and two USB ports.
The A-Spec package comes with 19-inch alloy wheels with 20-inch rims, darker cosmetic elements, LED fog lights, heated/ventilated front seats for additional speakers for the stereo system. Step up to the Advance package and you’ll get active dampers, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera system, 16-way power-adjustable front seats, automatic wipers, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, wood trim, acoustic front side glass, a hands-free tailgate and a rear camera washer.
