The 2019 Acura ILX is available in a base trim that comes with a nice list of features. Buyers at the Henderson area Acura dealership can choose one of three upgrade packages (Premium, Technology and A-Spec) to add more desired features. The ILX is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive is standard. Not So Standard Features
The base 2019 Acura ILX comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, automatic headlights, LED headlights and taillights, a power sunroof, proximity entry and push-button start, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel and imitation leather upholstery. Technology features include an infotainment system with a 5-inch display, a six-speaker audio system and Bluetooth.
The Premium package includes a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, leather-trimmed seats, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, a stereo system with seven speakers, HD Radio, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch information display and a 7-inch touchscreen.
The Premium package is a prerequisite for the Technology package, which comes with the AcuraLink telematics system, a navigation system and a premium stereo system with 10 speakers.
Buyers of the A-Spec package also need to have the Premium package. This appearance package adds 18-inch alloy wheels with wider tires, a rear spoiler and faux-suede car seat inserts.
One feature we especially like is the AcuraWatch safety and driver-assistance suite. AcuraWatch comes with lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
The NHTSA gave the 2019 Acura ILX of five stars in overall crash testing. The ILX received the top score of Good in all IIHS crash tests.
