Acura NSX Time Attack 1 and 2 Vehicles

It has now become a regular routine to find both Acura and Honda bringing their great cars to Pikes Peak International Hill Club and this year was not an exception to that. Acura will be unveiling its NSX-inspired, all-electric and Electric Vehicle Concept at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2016. The EV concept from Acura is powered by 4-motor, all-electric, AWD (All Wheel Drive) powertrain that was a winner in 2015’s Pikes Peak Challenge Exhibition class.

The Electric Vehicle Concept from Acura boasts of the first such technology in the world that allows for torque allocation independent of four-wheel.

The SH-AWD powertrain of EV Concept generates 3 times the entire system output for 2015’s prototype. It has been mated to the body of the NSX.

Tetsuya Yamano claimed that they have been tuning the EV Concept for many weeks at ave and Pikes and its performance has now got advanced drastically. Yamano added that the company feels privileged to be participating at Pikes since it is a historical anniversary year. The event is revered by racing fans from all across the globe.

4-Motor development

The Research & Development Wing of Honda has been into a technology called “super handling” for over two decades now to create that perfect vehicle handling. The application of distinct TMUs or Twin Motor Units, Acura has indeed managed to achieve the feat of independent distribution of torque to all its 4 corners. Thus it offers nothing less than true 4-wheel torque vectoring technology.
