2018 Acura TLX Safety Features

Monday, September 18th, 2017

CardinaleWay Acura of Las Vegas always has the safety of our customers first and foremost. That’s why our Acura location would love to introduce you to the safety features of the 2018 Acura TLX.

Street Smart

Acura’s goal is to create a society where there are no collisions and AcuraWatch has advanced safety and driver-assist technology to reach that goal. AcuraWatch is designed to improve awareness, assist with avoidance and help mitigate impact.

Blind Spot Information System

If the TLX detects another vehicle in the next lane riding along your blind spot, an indicator appears for you. If you attempt to signal in the direction of that vehicle, the indicator will flash and emit warning beeping sounds.

Rear Cross Traffic Monitor

Backing up is always a pain and this feature alleviates some of the pain by detecting approaching vehicles from either side while backing up. By communicating with the Multi-View Rear Camera, sound and arrow signals alert you of an oncoming vehicle.

Front & Rear Parking Sensors

Featured in the A-SPEC and Advanced packages, these innovative parking sensors detect when the vehicle is close to an object or surface with a series of beeps.

Vehicle Stability Assist

Wet conditions are always a nervous proposition when driving. Vehicle Stability Assist reduces the dangers of over and under steering and a loss of traction by applying brakes at each wheel as need and reducing engine power when necessary.

CardinaleWay Acura of Las Vegas’ 24 Hours in Vegas

Monday, September 11th, 2017

CardinaleWay Acura of Las Vegas knows that you can do a lot in Las Vegas over a weekend, but what about if you only had 24 hours? Our Acura location has the perfect day planned for you in Vegas.

Getting a good breakfast in your stomach during your time at Las Vegas is extremely important and we recommend going to Veranda at Four Seasons Hotel. You can order s’mores French toast, chicken and waffles and homemade pastries.

This leads us to our first attraction, the Las Vegas Welcome Sign, only a mile south of Four Seasons Hotel. It is the most iconic attraction in Las Vegas and a must see.

Next is the Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York. This is strictly for the thrill-seekers so feel free to skip if you don’t want to go.

Once it’s about noon you should then see the Fountains of Bellagio to get some beautiful pictures. The water shoots up 460 feet into the air on weekends and is truly a sight to see.

Since you’re around the Bellagio, be sure to visit the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This display changes with the seasons so you’ll never see the same stunning scenery twice.

For lunch, you can visit Caesars Palace to find the best buffet in town, the Bacchanal Buffet. This spread is sure to satisfy and you’ll want to fill up as dinner time is late in Vegas

To kill off the food, next you’ll want to do some shopping and sightseeing at The Forum Shops at Caesars. There are 160 stores, Roman statues, a replica of Trevi Fountain, The Fall of Atlantis fountain show and much more.

Go home and get dressed for the evening, next is the Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. This is a stunning scene as a three-story bar surrounded by dangling chandelier crystals is one of a kind.

Now it’s dinner time and you can get great food at Giada’s at The Cromwell. You owe it to yourself to dine at a celebrity chef’s restaurant, so make sure to order some fantastic food and drinks.

For those with energy left in the tank, you can start your night at The Label at The Palazzo. This lounge has jazz music and signature drinks that are dedicated to Frank Sinatra.

Next is the XS Nightclub inside Winn Las Vegas, one of the top-five highest grossing clubs in the United States. You’ll have a blast dancing your heart out to some great music.

Lastly, you must surely be wanting to try to win some money at this point. So visit The Stratosphere to try make your night an even more memorable one. Now that’s how you spend a day in Vegas!

Acura Unveils Redesigned 2018 RLX and new ARX-05 Prototype

Monday, September 4th, 2017

CardinaleWay Acura of Las Vegas is excited about what the future of Acura holds. At Monterey Automotive Week from August 15-20, Acura will showcase the 2018 RLX Sport Hybrid and the exciting ARX-05 DPi prototype race car. Acura new cars always excite us and we are happy to share this news with you!

Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager for the Acura Division, says, “We chose Monterey Automotive Week to launch Acura’s newest vehicles because the week’s events epitomize the celebration of the automobile. The Acura brand continues to gain momentum with a singular focus on our Precision Crafted Performance DNA, which is brought to life in captivating products like the RLX and the ARX-05 prototype.”

2018 Acura RLX

The new RLX has incorporated design cues like the signature diamond pentagon grille from the Acura Precision Concept. These grilles were also implemented in the 2018 TLX sport sedan and 2017 MDX SUV. Another feature of the redesign is a more sculpted hood, new wheel designs, LED taillights, dual exhausts and gloss black rear diffuser.

Acura ARX-05

Marking an exciting return to prototype racing alongside Team Penske, Acura will campaign two ARX-05 cars in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, beginning with the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January 2018.

ARX-05 stands for Acura Racing Experimental, generation 5 and it is the latest in prototypes fielded by Acura beginning more than 25 years ago. This vehicle was designed by the Acura Design Studio in Los Angeles and the multi-year program will be administered by Honda Performance Development.
